A native of Roxboro, North Carolina, and a former Raleigh resident, Warren graduated from Davidson College with a degree in history. He moved from Raleigh to Charlotte in 1995. In addition to working in the private sector for First Union/Wachovia/Wells Fargo, Warren has served on the Board of Directors of the Charlotte Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission, and the Charlotte City Council.
Warren joined the Notch Carolina Department of Transportation in April of 2014 in Highway Division 10, focused on Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Union, Stanly, and Anson Counties, and moved to the Turnpike Authority in May of 2017. He has given hundreds of presentations on transportation-related topics throughout the Charlotte region on such topics as highway project prioritization, transportation construction progress and planning, express lanes, and tolling.
The cost is just $30 for members, $15 for government members, and $35 for non-members who pay or RSVP before Janurary 10, 2020. A $5 surcharge will be added for walk-ins on the day of the event.
