Meeting on September 21, 2023

Felix Obregon, PE, from NCDOT Division 10 will give a presentation discussing the status of current and future NCDOT projects in our region.

Felix A. Obregon graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in NC. Felix started his career with NCDOT and worked there for almost 5 years holding several positions including Assistant District Engineer before joining the Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT). Felix worked 14 years at CDOT holding several positions in the Design Section where he managed capital projects. He also held several positions within the Land Development Section from project coordinator to section manager. Felix’s final role at CDOT included working on the UDO, Charlotte Streets Manual that involved updating the city’s traffic impact study guidelines. This past year October Felix rejoined NCDOT as the District Engineer for Mecklenburg County.

The cost is just $30 for members or $35 for non-members who pay or RSVP no later than Wednesday, September 13, 2023. RSVPs made after this date and walk-ins on the day of the event will be charged $35. Please note, no-shows will be billed; no refunds. Lunch will be provided and PDHs will be available upon request.
