Event Overview

Join ASHE Carolina Piedmont for a technical Lunch & Learn focused on the design and construction of the Broadway Viaduct Bridge in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, delivered for the Tennessee Department of Transportation using Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) techniques.
This presentation will highlight the unique design and construction challenges associated with replacing a critical bridge structure in a highly constrained downtown environment, including coordination, staging, and constructability considerations required to complete the replacement within an eight-week full closure window. Attendees will gain insight into how innovative engineering solutions were used to minimize disruption while delivering a successful project..
We encourage attendees to bring questions or submit them in advance to help guide the conversation and ensure a meaningful exchange of ideas.
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, gain fresh perspectives, and contribute to the dialogue shaping our region’s transportation future.
Whether you’re a public- or private-sector professional, this event is a great opportunity to learn directly from local and state leaders while networking with fellow ASHE members and transportation peers.
