Brian

Brian Elgort, AICP is the Project Implementation Coordinator for the CRTPO; in this role, he oversees implementation of the CRTPO’s Strategic Plan, serves as the project manager for the RAISE grant the CRTPO was awarded in July 2024, and aids in the development of many of the CRTPO’s other plans and programs. Brian serves as an Emerging Professional on the Association of Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Technical Committee. Prior to joining the CRTPO in February 2021, Brian was the Planner for the Town of Pineville. He received his Master of City and Regional Planning degree from Clemson University and his Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Wofford College.

Robert W. Cook, AICP is a Division Manager with the City of Charlotte’s Planning, Design & Development department, and in that role serves as Director of the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO), the metropolitan planning organization for the Charlotte urbanized area. He has led the CRTPO since 2004, growing the organization from three people to its current 15 positions.

The cost is just $30 for members or $40 for non-members who pay or RSVP no later than Friday, Novemeber 15, 2024. RSVPs made after this date and walk-ins on the day of the event will be charged $40.
