Meeting on September 19, 2018

Brett Canipe, PE, from NCDOT Division 10 will give a presentation discussing the status of current and future NCDOT projects in our region.

Brett Canipe is a Deputy Division Engineer for the 10th Highway Division of the North Carolina Department of Transportation. As the Deputy Division Engineer in Division 10, Brett is responsible for assisting the Division Engineer with all transportation planning, design, construction, operations, and maintenance for a five county area (Anson, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Stanly, and Union Counties).

Brett Canipe is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BS in Civil Engineering 2001. He has 16 years of professional experience with NCDOT, and 2 years of experience in the private sector. He is a registered Professional Engineer in North Carolina since 2006. Brett Enjoys off-road motorcycling, hunting, and fishing Assignments with NCDOT have included construction, maintenance and operations as well as project development oversight.

The cost is just $30 for members who pay or RSVP before September 17, 2018. A $5 surcharge will be added for walk-ins on the day of the event. Please note, walk-ins will only be accepted if they are members or if they join at the meeting. Also, no-shows will be billed; no refunds.
