WTS Charlotte Metro - October Lunch Program featuring Danny Pleasant and Greg Boulanger
2016 Charlotte Community Investment Bonds
Wednesday October 19, 2016
There will be three bond referenda on this year's general election ballot totaling $218.44 million. Charlotte residents will have the chance to approve these bonds so improvements can be made in the city. These funds will be used to:
- Upgrade and enhance transportation and infrastructure ($148.44 million)
- Build housing for low- to moderate-income families ($15 million)
- Improve infrastructure in established neighborhoods and emerging high growth areas ($55 million)
Greg Boulanger, who serves on the Charlotte Chamber's Bond Campaign, will be presenting an overview of the City Bond Program and provide ways on how you can advocate and show support for the City Bonds in the community.
Danny Pleasant will provide detail on each of the transportation and infrastructure projects, the status of each of these projects, and benefits these projects bring to the community.
This event is being hosted by the WTS Charlotte Metro Chapter. The cost is $25 for WTS members and $40 for non-members. Please RSVP by October 17th by registering with WTS here. Additional $15 walk-in rate applies after this date. For more information, please contact Kelsie Anderson at
